Independence Day

USA - Independance day, 4th July 2023
The United States celebrates Independence Day, or the Fourth of July, in honour of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. Many people take advantage of the holiday and, in some years, a three-day weekend, to get together with their families and friends to celebrate Independence Day. Typically, red, white, and blue, the colours of the American flag, are used for decorations (such as streamers, balloons, and bunting). Fireworks displays are typically staged in the evening after dark in locations such as parks, sports arenas, fairgrounds, public shorelines, or town squares, while parades are typically held in the morning before family get-togethers.
